AEW Dynamite Results January 10, 2024. TBS broadcast episode number 223 of AEW Dynamite today, January 10 , live from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL.
Hangman charges at Claudio as soon as he steps into the ring. The action soon moves to ringside where Claudio attacks with an Uppercut. Back in the ring, Claudio pokes Page in the eyes, applies a Suplex and Stomp but it’s not enough. Castagnoli uses the Giant Swing and closes the Sharpshooter, Death Valley Driver by Page, who after exchanging blows applies a Fallaway Slam. Lariat and Plancha to the outside to continue punishing Castagnoli.
Claudio loads Hangman into Military Press and throws him hard towards the ramp. Claudio continues punching, carrying Hangman to the entrance. Page responds with Rolling Elbows until returning Claudio to the ring with a Lariat. Castagnoli sees the Buckshot Lariat coming and reverses with a Pop Up Uppercut that almost gives him the victory. Claudio catches a Moonsault at ringside, crashes Page against the barricade but he responds with a DDT.
Hangman goes up to the entrance stage and launches a Moonsault from there. Hangman applies a Piledriver in the ring but the count does not reach three. Claudio avoids a Deadeye by throwing Page face first into the corner. He unloads a bunch of Uppercuts, a Lariat but Hangman resists. Deadeye from Page and a two count. Castagnoli tries an Avalanche Riccola Bomb but hits a Hurricanrana to escape. Two Buckshot Lariats! 1…2…3!

Dustin begins the fight against Toa Liona, who surpasses him with her power. Several take over to advance against Brian Cage, Orange manages to connect a Stundog Millionaire that makes him retreat. Gates of Agony go towards him, Orange dodges them with his hands in his pockets but Toa knocks him out of the ring with a Pounce. Archer takes over and continues the punishment against Orange. Jose The Assistant grabs Archer’s foot to stop him, Jake The Snake Roberts knocks him down. DDT by Orange to escape from Archer and take over from Preston.
Vance attacks Gates of Agony and hits Cage. Everyone starts going in and out using big movements. Archer tries a move on Toa but kicks him by mistake. Cage complains to Lance and they go to blows. Copeland’s Spear on Brian taking advantage of his distraction. Preston finishes off Kaun with a Discus Lariat and takes the victory for his team.
Bullet Club Gold are interviewed by Renee Paquette. Jay White talks about Undisputed Kingdom looking for gold, which they are also looking for. The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn interrupt them to insist that they join forces and go for more titles together.
Joe says that tonight he will make some changes to the title challenger protocols. “Even a devil who made a bad deal is looking for me. But we don’t care about devils tonight, because the one running things here is Samoa Joe. So these will be the changes.” Joe says it doesn’t matter anymore that they come to cry on the microphone. Challengers have to prove their record and reputation, and the championship committee will give them the opportunity if they are worthy.
“The new era of championship is here. And for all those who want it, their champion will be waiting,” Joe closes.
“A while ago I told Hangman Page that it wasn’t personal, I was looking for his place, and look what happened: I got it. I’ll tell you the same thing, it’s not personal with you, I want that AEW championship and I’m going to take it. Anyway…when I take that title, if you want to make it personal, go ahead. I’ll be more than happy to do that,” Swerve says and comes face to face with Joe.
“If we are going to go out and say our plans for 2024, I want to do it too,” says Page, and remembers great moments of his from 2023. “What I missed last year was the World Championship, and in 2024 I will make it mine,” Page yells in Swerve’s face. Prince Nana calms Swerve down and leaves with him. Page advances on Joe and tells him that he hasn’t forgotten what he did to him, so he will take the title away from him, he assures him.
Hook comes out when Page and Strickland have already left. Hook confronts Joe and says “a week” defiantly.
Toni Storm is interviewed by Renee Paquette. Mariah May asks Storm if she saw her match, Storm says she didn’t see anything and asks if she did an Arm Drag. Renee asks Toni about Deonna Purrazzo. Storm asks Luther to arrange a meeting with Deonna.
Ricky corners Sammy with punches to control at the beginning. Guevara takes him out of the ring and flies a Moonsault towards him. They exchange blows on the edge of the ring, Ricky has the better of it and applies a Double Underhook Facebuster there. Ricky begins to focus his attack on Sammy’s arm. Guevara lands a kick and looks for the count without success. Sammy looks for height, Ricky stops him with blows and goes for him. Guevara responds, knocks him down and launches into a moonsault. Ricky receives it with his feet and advances with a Lariat.
Sammy dodges a Spear causing Ricky to crash into the corner. Starks reverses a GTH and nearly gets the win with a pin. Superkick from Sammy who immediately covers Ricky with an Inside Cradle and takes the victory.
After the fight, Big Bill comes out to attack Sammy Guevara. Chris Jericho comes out to stop Bill and Starks, unleashing chaos between both teams that are going to hit each other all over the arena.
Ruby and Anna start the action, Jay lands several blows and takes over from Kris. He continues the dominance with short relays over Soho, who manages to reverse the situation by taking control with his team. Willow enters her team, looks for height but Harley Cameron knocks her down so Skye can attack. Willow manages to escape and hits a Double Lariat on Julia and Blue. Kris takes over and charges against all possible opponents.
Both teams fight to apply a quadruple Suplex, Kris’ team succeeds and the eight of them spend exchanging blows, entering and leaving the ring. Chaos Theory from Kris to Saraya, Anna and Julia take over and exchange blows right away. Anna closes the Queenslayer on Skye and makes her surrender.
Wheeler Yuta challenges Eddie Kingston for this Friday at AEW Rampage.
Strong arrives with the rest of Undisputed Kingdom. Good start for Keith, who attacks with a kick and several Chops. They go on to throw punches on the edge of the ring, where Strong applies a hard Side Suplex. Roderick takes control, goes for a Superplex but ends up receiving a Diamond Dust from BK. Bryan tries the Tiger Driver, Roddy tries to reverse but Keith covers him. Knee Strike and End of Heartache to finish off Keith.
Adam Cole speaks after the fight. He highlights Roderick Strong and considers him one of the best fighters, stating that the International Championship is named after him. He adds that The Kingdom don’t have the respect they deserve and will be one of the best teams ever. “The monster, the dominator, one of the most physical men in AEW, I’m talking about Wardlow. Now that he is surrounded by people who respect him, I promise you that when the time is right, we are going to win the AEW World Championship,” says Cole. “I hope you get used to your new home, or rather, kingdom. Make yourself comfortable, because we plan to be here for a long time,” he closes.
Deonna Purrazzo is interviewed by Renee Paquette. Deonna says that she is very excited and that she set her sights on Toni Storm’s championship. “You can pretend you don’t know who I am, but I sent my people to talk to your people,” says Deonna, who will be present this Saturday at AEW Collision. Red Velvet appears to say that she will also be in Collision and challenge her.
The action explodes as soon as the four are in the ring and spreads throughout Daillys Place. Sting and Hobbs on one side, Takeshita and Darby on the other. Darby looks for a Coffin Drop to ringside, but Konosuke catches him and applies a Chaos Theory there. Hobbs overpowers Sting, leaving him in pain while he and Takeshita set up tables. Takeshita dominates Allin and challenges him to hit him back. Konosuke and Hobbs grab Darby by his limbs and brutally throw him from one corner to the other.
Sting reacts and charges at both, but Takeshita soon stops him with a Knee Strike. Ric Flair intervenes to help Sting and Allin, who take control. Allin looks for a Sleeper at the entrance, but Takeshita takes him back against the barricade. Darby begins to climb until he gains enough height and launches a Coffin Drop on Takeshita. Hobbs charges Sting, looking for height from the audience area to throw him over the tables. Sting responds and manages to apply a Scorpion Deathdrop for the victory.
After the match, Tony Schiavone enters the ring to interview Sting. “Who will be your opponent in your last fight?” Tony asks.
The Young Bucks interrupt Sting before he speaks ! Sting looks surprised, Darby is defiant towards the Jackson brothers
