AEW Rampage Results January 12, 2024. Eddie Kingston puts the Triple Crown Continental Championship at stake against Wheeler Yuta.
TNT Drama will broadcast episode number 127 of AEW Rampage today, January 12, an event that was recorded last Wednesday after the live broadcast of AEW Dynamite.
Yuta looks for control through keys, causing Eddie to reach the ropes. Yuta takes him out of the ring and flies in a Suicidal Top towards him, Eddie tries to respond with a Chop but Wheeler hurts his arm against the rope. Wheeler stops to concentrate his damage on that Kingston arm. Yuta continues punishing for several minutes, Eddie tries to respond with a Sleeperhold but Yuta frees himself to continue with the targeted attack.
Kingston tires of Wheeler’s kicks and slaps, going on the attack with blows of his own. Yuta soon defends him by grabbing his arm to knock him down. Eddie surprises with two Suplexes, avoiding his challenger’s attacks. DDT and two count on Wheeler. Yuta looks for height, Kingston stops Chops but Wheeler escapes with a Diving DDT. Kingston gets out of the count by putting his hand on the ropes just in time.
German Suplex and a two count on Eddie. Splash by Yuta and another two count. Eddie attacks, hits a Suplex and a Backfist. Half and Half Suplex followed by the Northern Lights Bomb for the three count.
Mark Briscoe and The Briscoes are interviewed by Renee Paquette. Mark talks about continuing to be teams, Jeff mentions the success of Rampage and Matt says that he would be interested in going for the trio championships. The Hardys put a pendant with their logo on Mark, saying that he is now one of them.
Dynamic start with several pin attempts, Swerve stops Matt and takes control. Swerve loads Matt into the Torture Rack and hurts his back. Sydal reverses with a Hurricanrana and Knee strike, Swerve catches a kick and applies a Backbreaker to continue hurting Matt’s back. Air Raid Crash by Matt for a two count. Swerve Stomp that Matt dodges, but Strickland catches him with a JML Driver for the win.
Top Flight and Action Andretti are going to be interviewed but Private Party interrupts them. Darius gets upset with them, Private Party challenges two of them anytime, anywhere.
Shida knocks Aminata down and corners her to unleash several blows. Queen responds with a Hip Attack and a kick in the corner. Aminata continues advancing, hitting Shida hard. Exchange of kicks to the back, Shida stops a knee and applies Dragon Screw followed by Vertical Suplex for a two count. Queen responds with a hard forearm blow and a German Suplex. Jumping Knee by Shida and Falcon Arrow for a two count. She finishes off with the Katana and takes the victory.
Saraya shows a video to Ruby Soho, pausing the moment Harley Cameron kisses Angelo Parker. Cool Hand Ang arrives with a birthday cake for Ruby, but she throws it in his face and leaves upset. Saraya leaves the remote control to Cool Hand, who continues the video and we see how Parker refuses to kiss Cameron, being the one who moved forward.
Parker arrives with his face still dirty with cake. Hager gives the gold chain to Parker, Silver takes it from her and puts it on to mock her. Jake attacks Dark Order, retrieves the chain from him, and pulls Silver away from his team. Reynolds comes in with elbows on Menard, but Hager takes over again. Alex flies Suicidal Top over him, Parker and Menard attack him and Hager takes the opportunity to land a big blow.
Evil Uno takes over and charges against the rivals. Neckbreaker to Parker and Senton for a two count. Silver also attacks all the opponents and, together with his team, finishes off Parker with a Pendulum Bomb, but Menard saves him just in time. Double DDT by Menard and Parker, Hager Bomb on Reynolds but he resists. Hager gets distracted arguing with Negative 1, Alex and John work together to finish him off with a German Suplex with Jacknife pin for the win.
