When AEW presented their AEW World Heavyweight Championship at AEW Double or Nothing 2019. People wanted to see who was going to be the inaugural AEW World Heavyweight Champion. Being an underdog “Hangman” Adam Page put up a great performance in this match but it wasn’t enough to defeat Chris Jericho. As the veteran of the game Chris Jericho defeated “Hangman” Adam Page to become the inaugural world champion. Which was a really special moment in AEW History. And Jericho carried the company forward as the world heavyweight champion.
