ROH Death before Dishonor Results Prediction. Death Before Dishonor (2022) is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view; Produced by American wrestling promotion Ring of Honor (ROH). It will take place on July 23, 2022, at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts. It is the nineteenth event in the Death Before Dishonor chronology. It is also ROH’s first live event under the ownership of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) president Tony Khan.
There are multiple matches that AEW has already announced for the pay-per-view. These matches are as following with the backstory and the winners predictions :
Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia are All Elite Wrestling’s Two open best superstars. These are the up-and-coming wrestlers who have a bright future ahead of them. Proving this Wheeler Yuta showed fans that now he is ready to carry the Championship gold by winning the Ring of Honor Pure Championship. On the other hand in AEW Garcia and Yuta came face to face during the rivalry between Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston.
Both Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia were the parts of Eddie Kingston and Chris Jericho’s faction respectively. And when they came face to face in the blood and guts match they really kicked each other’s head off. Unfortunately Garcia suffered the loss as Jericho Appreciation Society failed to defeat Eddie Kingston and his faction.
Garcia wasn’t ready to accept the defeat that easily and he challenged Wheeler Yuta for the Ring of Honor pure Championship. Yuta also accepted the challenge and now finally here we are with the championship match. This match is going to be a phenomenal match between two young athletes and they have a chance to prove why they are the best. WINNER – WHEELER YUTA.
Mercedes Martinez and Serena Deeb are the two most badass women in the Wrestling industry for any generation. These two women came in Ring of Honor when there was no such thing as the women’s division. And even then they proved themselves in front of the male superstars. They have grown differently but they have very similar stories.
Yeah we are in 2022. Now Ring of Honor has both a women’s division and a women’s championship. And as soon as Tony Khan took over Ring of Honor Martinez became the women’s champion. And she has the toughest opponent as Serena Deeb. Who is more hungrier than ever to prove that she is champion and she deserves a title. So the Clash will be epic. WINNER – SERENA DEEB.
Samoa Joe and Jay Lethal go way back in the 2000s. When Jay Lethal joined the wrestling business as a young Rookie. He had trouble in getting to know the business and how to survive in it but Samoa Joe took him under his wing. And supported and taught him how to survive in the wrestling industry. As a result Jay Lethal won every single Championship in Ring of Honor.
But when he returned to the company in 2022. He attacked ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham after his title match to get the World Championship Match. Surprisingly Samoa Joe returned to Ring of Honor and saved Jonathan Gresham by attacking his own student Jay Lethal. This caught Jay Lethal off-guard and he was furious.
As a result Jay started to attack Samoa Joe; until he was ready to give him a match for the Ring of honour TV Championship that he is holding. Finally Samoa Joe agreed to have a match against Jay at returning ROH pay-per-view Death Before Dishonor. So we can say this match is years in the making. And hopefully it delivers on patience. WINNER – SAMOA JOE.
Briscoe Brothers are the greatest Tag Team Ring of Honor has ever seen. They are literally the Hall of famers of Ring of Honor and they were world Tag Team champions. Until FTR showed up in Ring of Honor to challenge Briscoe Brothers for their world Tag Team championships. Surprisingly Briscoe Brothers accepted the challenge and the match went down at Supercard of Honor 2022.
The match was a great match and it was legendary as per Ring of Honor status. But it was the result which shocked fans most As FTR defeated Briscoe Brothers to become new Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions.
Now Ring of Honor is returning with the Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view and FTR had no opponent to defend their world Tag Team championships against. So they offered a rematch against the Briscoe Brothers. And Briscoe Brothers accepted the challenge only on one condition that this time it will be 2 out of 3 Falls match. Which is another reason that this match can suppress their previous bout and be even the greatest match. WINNER – FTR.
Jonathan Gresham is Ring of Honor’s one of the greatest world heavyweight champions that has ever existed. And he has proven this on multiple occasions. He may be short and people may underestimate him; but he can deliver the performance that people haven’t had accepted from him.
On the other hand we have Claudio Castagnoli who had his fair share of time in Ring of Honor. But he was never really a guy to surpass the Tag Team division and be the singles champion. Now Claudio Castagnoli is an even bigger star than he was ever before in Ring of Honor. And this time he is challenging for the singles championship; but not just any single Championship it’s the world championship.
So we can say that both the superstars have a lot of pressure on them. Plus it’s Ring of Honor’s comeback paper you’re so they get to deliver on the fans expectation. Hopefully the match will be a great match and it would justify the main event match status. And this may be the best time for Claudio Castagnoli to win his first single Championship in Ring of Honor. WINNER – CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI.
These are the matches that are currently announced for the show. Apparently more matches would be announced soon so stay tuned.
