CM Punk recalls Moxley Match, says Jericho is Liar & Stooge. Now it’s been months since the All Out 2022 backstage incident involving CM Punk and The Elite; and still we haven’t seen CM Punk back on AEW television. There were rumours that he may come back or may not ever come back to AEW.
Multiple sources were reporting multiple conflicting reports on the same topic. But finally CM Punk has spoken on some incidents prior to the All Out 2022 backstage fight.
In his latest IG story CM Punk recalled his match against Jon Moxley on AEW Dynamite. And revealed some inside details and stories surrounding the match. CM Punk wrote:
“SIGH. I wasn’t cleared to come back to wrestle yet. Then the plan was to wrestle at the ppv. I sat and listened to moxleys Rocky three idea. I explained how I’d never seen a Rocky movie. thought the idea sucked but if the boss wanted to do it, whatever. He said he wouldn’t lose to me. I’d never experienced someone refusing to lose to me. I just laughed. I asked Tony if this was what he wanted.
He said yes. He’s the boss so I said okay but I’d need to be cleared first. They kept saying it could just be a squash so l didn’t need to be cleared. I scoffed at that. My health is more important. Dave Meltzer is a liar. Jericho is a liar and a stooge. There were plans but plans always change but I’ll never put a company above my health ever again.”
With these words CM Punk explained the head side of the story before deleting it. We don’t know why CM Punk has deleted the post. But with these words CM Punk called out Chris Jericho and Dave Meltzer saying that they are Liars. In case you don’t know Meltzer was the one who reported that CM Punk wants to come back to AEW.
