When CM Punk won AEW World Heavyweight Championship against hangman Adam Page at AEW Double or Nothing 2022 Pay-per-view; It seemed like he would go on to defend the Championship against multiple opponents. Unfortunately he got injured and had to take some time off.

During this period AEW Crowd Interim AEW World Heavyweight Champion until CM Punk returns to AEW. Jon Moxley won the interim AEW World Heavyweight Championship. And he has been carrying the company on his back since CM Punk left AEW for his surgeries.

Surprisingly CM Punk came back on AEW television last week to saved Jon Moxley from the beating. But one way or another they were destined to face each other for the title unification match. They were so eager to face each other and adding fuel to the fire. AEW announced Next week CM Punk and Jon Moxley will finally face each other in a title unification match live on AEW Dynamite show.

Everyone thought that much would take place at the All Out 2022 pay-per-view. But out of nowhere AEW has announced this huge match for Next week’s AEW Dynamite show.
