ROH Final Battle 2023 Results. Athena puts the ROH Women’s Championship at stake against Billie Starkz. Ring of Honor celebrates Final Battle tonight live from the Garland Metroplez in Garland, Texas.

ROH Final Battle: Zero Hour!

Jazmin Allure vs. Taya Valkyrie

Taya takes the initiative in the fight, Jazmin tries to respond but receives a Sliding German Suplex. Allure reacts with several forearm blows and a Superkick. She looks for height but Taya stops her with a Superplex and then finishes her off with a Stomp.

Winner: Taya Valkyrie.

The Von Erichs (Marshall & Ross Von Erich) The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd)

Ross and Truth begin the fight, soon dominating the match with Marshall. Two Body Slam and Elbow Drop for Turbo, Ross comes in to apply a Monkey Flip and the Outrunners flee the ring. Ross chases them but Turbo hides to attack him and keep him as far away from Marshall as possible. Ross manages to take over, Marshall enters to attack the opponents. Both apply the Von Erich Claw to take the victory by submission.

Winners: The Von Erichs.

After the fight, Kevin Von Erich comes out to the ring to celebrate with his family.

Survival of the Fittest: Bryan Keith vs. Jack Cartwheel

Jack demonstrates his agility by dodging Bryan with cartwheels, landing kicks and a Moonsault. Jack does a handstand and Keith stops him with kicks. BK attacks with blows, Jack reacts with a Carwheel Dragon Screw. Jack continues attacking with acrobatics, BK resists and grabs his foot to prevent him from going up to the corner. Spicolli Driver and kicks to knock Keith out of the ring and fly over him. Bryan avoids an SSP, connects with a kick and a brutal Knee Strike. Tiger Driver to finish off Jack and move on to the TV Championship match later.

Winner: Bryan Keith.

Tony Khan comes out to say that this will be a special night. Remember that the great trilogy of The Briscoes vs. FTR, also that in Final Battle Jay Briscoe and Bryan Danielson faced each other. Last year was Jay Briscoe’s last fight, TK also remembers. Invite people to support ROH and watch the show.

Daniel Garcia vs. Blake Christian

Initial lock in search of control, when reaching the ropes Daniel moves away cleanly, but not Blake who throws a blow at Garcia’s face. The combat quickly increases pace with moments of dominance for both. Blake tries a lock but Daniel frees himself by bending the rival’s ankles. Blake dominates and kicks Daniel’s face, who has to struggle to try to stand up. Christian continues punching but Daniel gets back to his feet, albeit wobbly.

Garcia responds with a combination of blows and corners Christian. Daniel puts Blake in the Tree of Woe, dances and runs with a Dropkick for a two count. Backbreaker and Senton from Blake, he looks for height, Garcia dodges it but receives another Backbreaker and a kick to the back of the head. They exchange blows and kicks, Daniel’s Suplex and Blake’s Spanish Fly but it’s not enough. Daniel catches Blake’s leg and transitions into an Ankle Lock. Blake knocks him out of the ring by escaping and flies into a Fosberry Flop. Garcia closes the Dragon Tamer and makes Blake surrender.

Winner: Daniel García.

Eddie Kingston interrupts Tony Khan when he is making another introduction to the event. Kingston complains about being the World Champion and not having a match tonight. TK tells him that tomorrow he has an important fight against Daniel Garcia for the Continental Classic, but Eddie insists on wanting action. Anthony Henry appears to challenge him and Eddie accepts. Khan confirms the Proving Ground for tonight.

ROH Final Battle begins!

Fight for the AAA Mega Championship: El Hijo del Vikingo (c) vs. Black Taurus

Taurus stops Viking’s advances thanks to his strength in the early stages of the fight. Vikingo dodges a Knee Strike causing Taurus to fall out of the ring and flies towards him. Taurus catches him and launches a Powerbomb in the ring. Taurus takes him out of the ring again and flies into a Tornillo Plancha between the ropes. Vikingo’s Crucifix Driver who immediately receives a Pop Up Samoan Drop. Vikingo continues attacking with impossible turns by applying Hurricanrana and Headscissors.

They struggle in the heights, Vikingo applies a Frankensteiner from there but Taurus turns to the edge of the ring to avoid a pin. Twisting 450 Splash from the second rope to the inside by Vikingo, Black Taurus resists. Again in the heights, Taurus applies a Military Press Slam but does not get the count of three. Samoan Driver and Spear for Vikingo, who tries to hit but receives a hard headbutt. 630 from Vikingo from the ropes to the outside. Backbreaker, Powerbomb and Discus Lariat for Vikingo. Crucifix Driver and Poisonrana by Vikingo, Meteora and 630 Splash to take the victory.

Winner: Hijo Del Vikingo

Fight for the ROH World Trios Championships: Mogul Embassy (Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona) vs. TMDK (Shane Haste, Kosei Fujita & Bad Dude Tito)

Kaun and Fujita start, Kaun lands the first blow and looks for the count without success. Liona and Kaun exchange tags to continue punishing Kosei. Suplex by Bad Dude Tito on Kaun as he takes over. He hits Chops and another Suplex for a two count. Cage enters to attack Fujita with his power. Kosei escapes a Powerbomb and responds with a Suplex before taking over from Tito.

Bad Dude charges at the three champions, launching Cage into a Powerbomb on Liona and flying to ringside on Kaun. TMDK dominate the ring, Shane applies a Cannonball to Toa and connects a Knee Strike for a two count. Uranage from Toa to Shane, who tries to defend himself but receives a Spear. Fujita saves his partner just in time and makes Toa fall out of the ring. TMDK team up against Kaun, Tito and Shane try to hold the others back while Kosei looks for the pin on Kaun. The champions stalk Fujita after taking care of his teammates and finish him off to retain the titles.

Winners : Mogul Embassy.

I Quit Match: Tony Nese vs. Ethan Page

Mark Sterling refuses to be handcuffed as was part of the stipulation. Mark Henry comes out to make sure Mark complies and handcuffs him to the post himself. Nese surprises Page from behind at the beginning of the match. Ethan reacts but is distracted by Sterling, Tony takes the opportunity to fly over him. Sterling tries to throw protein powder at Ethan but he dodges causing it to fall into Tony’s eyes. Ethan gets distracted by Mark again and Tony punches him. Ethan, with a cut on his face, refuses to give up.

The action returns to the ring, Nese grabs a jump rope to whip Ethan. Page removes the rope and attacks him mercilessly. Tony asks him to stop, he can’t take it anymore. “I…” Nese says and attacks Ethan with the microphone. Nese sets up two tables at ringside, Ethan hits him and places them on the tables and then looks for height. Tony rejoins and goes after him. Page applies a Cutter, Tony is barely standing, holding onto the rope. Cutter on the tables!

Ethan prepares two chairs in the ring, Nese applies a Hurricanrana but Ethan falls past the chairs.

Nese pushes the referee and with a clamp breaks Sterling’s handcuffs, who joins in attacking Page. Mark says they will handcuff Page, hit his head with a 100-pound weight plate, and send the video to his daughter. Scorpio Sky comes out to help Ethan! Page steps on Nese’s fingers with the weight, attacks Mark and applies the Ego’s Edge. Tony attacks Ethan with a chair and handcuffs him. Nese tells him to give up, Ethan insults them and attacks with Big Boot despite having his hands cuffed behind his back. The referee releases Page, who hits Nese with a chair and chokes him with handcuffs. Nese surrenders!

Winner: Ethan Page.

Nyla Rose vs. Vert Vixen

Rose dominates from the beginning, looks for her Powerbomb but Vert escapes. Double Stomp by Vixen, Nyla reacts with a Knee Strike and applies the Beast Bomb for the count of three.

Winner: Nyla Rose.

Survival of the Fittest Match for the ROH World Television Championship: Dalton Castle vs. Kyle Fletcher vs. Lee Johnson vs. Lee Moriarty vs. Komander vs. Bryan Keith

Dalton and Moriarty prepare to start the fight, but Kyle hits Castle to take over and enter. After a brief exchange, Johnson enters for Kyle and hits him. Castle tries to intervene a couple of times but they make him fall out of the ring. Komander prepares to fly but Keith stops him and they begin to exchange blows. Fletcher overcomes Bryan but fails to take out Castle, who manages to throw him this time. Moriarty soon stops Castle with a kick and flies Dive over him and BK. Komander walks the top rope before flying over several opponents. Moriarty punishes Johnson’s arm, bends his fingers and closes the Border City Stretch to make him surrender.

Lee Johnson is eliminated.

Dalton distributes Suplex to all opponents. Johnny TV appears and attacks The Boys. Johnny throws one of the Boys into the ring, Dalton is distracted and Lee finishes him off with a Flatliner.

Dalton Castle is eliminated.

Komander and Keith team up to control the ring. Kyle and Keith struggle in the heights, Lee joins in and Komander applies a Powerbomb to knock them all down, the four of them are left lying down. Ushigoroshi by BK and Lee comes out for a one count. Bryan applies the Tiger Driver and achieves a three count.

Lee Moriarty is eliminated.

Kyle tries to surprise BK with the pin but fails. Suplex and Running Knee for Kyle, Fletcher responds and applies a Piledriver for a three count.

Bryan Keith is eliminated.

Komander and Kyle Fletcher are the final two. They exchange blows, Kyle gets the better of it but Komander surprises with a Springboard Poisonrana. Jumping Piledriver by Kyle on the edge of the ring, both fall outside. Komander returns to the ring just in time to avoid the count outside. Brainbuster by Kyle and he counts close to three. Komander hits a Springboard Destroyer and almost gets the victory. Komander walks the ropes to apply a 450 Splash on the edge of the ring. 450! 1…2…no!

Komander looks for height, Fletcher kicks his leg and applies a Brainbuster to the corner protector. Komander resists! Spinning Piledriver and a three count on Komander.

Winner and new champion: Kyle Fletcher.

Match for the Pure ROH Championship: Wheeler Yuta (c) vs. Tom Lawlor

Good start for Lawlor, who before two minutes gets Yuta to spend a Rope Break to save himself from an Armbreaker. They exchange chops, Yuta throws a punch without the referee seeing it, Lawlor throws a punch with a closed fist too but is seen and receives a warning. Yuta goes from an Indian Deathlock to a Single Leg Boston Crab, Lawlor spends a Rope Break to free himself. Yuta stops a knee and applies Dragon Screw. Wheeler punishes Tom’s leg again, who escapes and kicks the champion’s arm hard. Hammerlock Piledriver and a two count on Yuta. Double Wristlock on Yuta, who looks for the ropes and spends the second Rope Break.

Yuta lands a punch and gets a warning. Superplex without releasing the Wristlock on Yuta, Wheeler spends his last Rope Break to escape. Lawlor sits on his back and bends his arm, Yuta escapes and goes into the Ankle Lock. Tom surprises again with the Wristlock, passes Chickenwing but Yuta escapes looking for a pin. Wheeler applies the Seatbelt and achieves a three count.

Winner: Wheeler Yuta.

After the fight, Wheeler Yuta wants to continue attacking Lawlor but is interrupted by Hook. Yuta threatens to leave but returns to apply a low blow and DDT to Hook.

Keith Lee vs. Shane Taylor

Measured start, with Headlocks and a first Tackle attempt by Shane. Lee tries it later and manages to knock Taylor down, who looks surprised. Taylor dodges Keith by making him pass to the edge of the ring, but Lee responds from there with a Crossbody. He tries something similar again but Shane hits him with the Tower of London. The intensity increases with the hard blows between them, Shane knocks Keith down and looks for the count but Keith resists. Headbutt and Uranage from Shane, who climbs to the second rope to launch himself into a Splash. Keith resists!

Powerbomb by Keith and Double Handed Chop to Shane. He prepares to go up to the corner, but Lee Moriarty appears to stop him. Keith puts him in the ring and hits him with a Powerbomb. Knee Strike to the back of Keith’s head for a close count of three. They struggle in the heights, Shane manages to apply a Destroyer but Keith resists. Lee manages to apply his Big Bang Catastrophe to win the match.

Winner: Keith Lee.

Bryan Keith is interviewed by Tony Schiavone. He says that he is here to prove his worth, and he is here to get gold. Orange Cassidy appears and says that he has some gold in her backpack. “Come get him. “See you tomorrow,” Cassidy challenges. The fight is confirmed for tomorrow at AEW Collision Winter is Coming.

Blackpool Combat Club (Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli) vs. Mark Briscoe & FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood)

Jon and Dax start the fight, Moxley challenges him to hit and is surprised by Harwood’s strength. Claudio takes over to exchange blows with Dax, Danielson takes over to also face Dax, but Dax overcomes him and takes him to his corner. Mark elbows Claudio and looks for the account without success. The BCC manages to keep Dax away from his corner with short tags, Harwood is bleeding from the shoulder. Mark enters and destroys his Red Neck Kung Fu, then applies the Red Neck Boogie with Cash on Danielson.

The action increases with the participation of all six, one per team entering to connect a great movement to a rival until all six are lying on the canvas. Both teams, battered, stand up and go to blows. Danielson saves Mox from a Shatter Machine with the Buisaku Knee. Shatter Machine by FTR and Mark on Claudio, but Castagnoli resists. Mark looks for the Jay Driller but Jon stops him and then tramples him with Danielson and Claudio. The fight continues throughout the arena, on the ramp, the entrance. The referee rings the bell!

Several referees and security personnel come out to try to stop the chaos between both teams. 

Mark Briscoe takes the microphone and says no way. “This is a fight to represent and honor my brother. Let’s restart this and make it all count,” Mark asks.

The match restarts as Fight Without Honor and the action continues. FTR set up a table, Mark grabs a bucket with thumbtacks and barbed wire and throws it on the table. Mark goes for a wire ladder, while Mox hurts Dax with a fork. Mark punishes Claudio with a chair and rests the ladder there. He places Claudio on the wire ladder at ringside and climbs into the corner. Moxley attacks him with a chair from behind and throws him towards the ladder. Claudio manages to get out first and Mark takes all the damage.

Jon uses the chair against Dax and applies a Stomp on it, then hurts Cash with the fork. Danielson, without his eye patch and with blood in that area, also attacks Dax with a chair. Mox uses the wire on Cash while Danielson applies the Lebelle Lock. The BCC members trap their rivals in holds, Dax manages to throw himself with Danielson on his back on Mark to free him from Moxley.

Wheeler goes through a table with Claudio in the ring. Dax hits a Piledriver on the tack table! Danielson throws his classic kicks at Mark. Briscoe defiantly insults him and continues to receive kicks. He avoids the Buisaku Knee and hits the Jay Driller on a stack of chairs. 1…2…3!

Winners: Mark Briscoe & FTR.

Combate Proving Ground: Eddie Kingston vs. Anthony Henry

Eddie overcomes Anthony in the first exchanges, Henry surprises him and takes him out of the ring and then charges with a kick. He double stomps for a two count upon returning to the ring. Chops by Eddie, Kicks by Anthony, Deadlift German and a two count on Kingston. Piledriver from Henry after a tough exchange of blows, Eddie resists. Backfist and Suplex for Henry, Eddie catches him in a hold and makes him submit.

Winner: Eddie Kingston.

ROH Women’s World Championship Match: Athena (c) vs. Billie Starkz

Billie takes the lead at the start, Athena wears a protective mask. Athena catches a Dive and punishes Starkz several times against the barricades. Athena smashes Billie’s face against the barricade and she begins to bleed. Back in the ring, Athena continues to aggressively dominate the challenger. Billie manages to respond briefly but receives a Uranage on the edge of the ring. They throw and dodge blows, Billie manages to apply a Suplex but it is not enough.

Starkz applies a Spear and removes Athena’s mask to unleash blows on her face. Billie’s Swanton Bomb for a two count. The action moves to ringside, Athena throws BIllie against the barricade with a Dropkick and prepares the commentary table. “You will never have what is mine. “Did you hear?” Athena shouts as she slaps Billie. Starkz throws her off the table with a Suplex and applies another on the table protector.

Billie throws Athena to the other side of the barricade and removes the guards, Athena smashes her face into the exposed metal.

Superplex by Athena, who tries to cover Billie but Billie pushes her causing her to knock down the referee by mistake. Athena looks for the count but the referee is down. The champion asks Lexy Nair, the announcer and Athena’s Minion, to bring the title to the ring. Lexy tries to persuade her but she ends up giving in. Billie hits her from behind, her momentum causing Athena to hit the title of her. Billie and Athena’s Piledriver narrowly escapes.

They fight on the edge of the ring, Athena goes to the second rope but Billie catches her for the Sugoi Driver. Athena dodges a Swanton Bomb and connects a hard forearm blow, both are left lying on the canvas. On their knees they throw forearms, they stand up to continue hitting each other without wanting to give in. Athena connects with the Despicable Knee but Billie escapes on a one-count.

Billie stops the O Face, turns Athena around for the pin but misses the count. They fight for position, Billie surprises with an unsuccessful pin. Athena catches Billie in a submission and Starkz finally taps out.

Winner: Athena.

After the fight, Billie leaves without saying anything to Athena, but the champion stops her and they argue. Starkz offers her her hand, Athena rejects it and Billie yells at him what he wants from her. “I want you to be my minion,” says Athena. Billie high fives her and hugs her. Athena, Billie and Lexy hug each other in the ring. As ROH Final Battle 2023 Went off Air.
