CM Punk went off script on AEW Dynamite. CM Punk is a pretty straight-forward wrestler who says anything to anyone and he did not back down from that. And previously we have seen multiple times CM Punk had gone off script. Most infamously for his pipe bomb promo.

This week on AEW Dynamite CM Punk was set to sell his match against Jon Moxley for AEW world Championship unification. But surprisingly CM Punk went off script during his segment on this week’s Dynamite show.

CM Punk went out and talked to the crowd; Surprisingly he started his promo. By calling out Hangman Adam Page for a rematch for the AEW World Championship. Page did not showed up to which Punk said : “My thoughts exactly, That’s not Cowboy shit that’s coward shit”

Wrestling Observer Dave Meltzer clarified the situation for the more. And he said: “Nobody knew he was going to do that. If you remember months ago when they were feuding and they said. That there’s a lot of reality to it. well, there’s a lot of reality to it. I don’t know what the deal was, and nobody else does either. Punk was supposed to go out there and talk about Moxley and build the match. And he did, after he talked about Adam Page.”
