AEW Dynamite Results November 8, 2023. MJF puts the AEW World Championship at stake against Daniel García. TBS broadcast episode number 214 of AEW Dynamite today, November 8 , live from the Moda center in Portland, OR.

Tony Schiavone presents MJF. The champion says that what happened with Jay White last week will not happen again. Adam Cole calls MJF and appears on TV to talk to him, saying how worried he is about defending the ROH Tag Team Championship, saying that he should choose Samoa Joe as his partner. MJF insists that he will defend them without choosing Joe.

Daniel Garcia interrupts him accompanied by Daddy Magic and Cool Hand Ang. MJF asks him if he will have Danny Garcia the “sports entertainer” or the professional wrestler. Garcia stands close to his face and tells him that he will have the professional wrestler.

Roderick Strong and The Kingdom appear right away. Strong offers his legendary advice to MJF, who responds that it has completely become a joke. Roddy begins to complain to Adam Cole, who cuts off communication. Strong says it’s time to remind everyone exactly who he is.

AEW World Championship Match: MJF (c) vs. Daniel Garcia

Even start with some keying between the two. Daniel seems to have the best part and prepares to dance, Daddy Magic and Cool Hand yell at him not to do it. Max offers her hand as a sign of respect, Daniel rejects it and also receives the poke in the eyes. The match increases the pace, MJF focuses his attack on Daniel’s shoulder.

Garcia manages to respond and dances with only one arm. Brainbuster and two count on MJF. MJF looks for the Heatseeker, Daniel escapes and hurts his leg. Piledriver with one arm and a two count on MJF. Dragontamer, MJF escapes by reverting to his Salt of the Earth and takes the victory.

Winner: MJF.

After the fight, MJF offers his hand to Garcia. Cool Hand and Daddy Magic intercept him to avoid him. MJF insists, Daniel seems like he is going to get closer but once again he is pushed away by his colleagues.

Video of Mark Briscoe talking about Jay White, who he has known for years. Mark says he’s ready to go toe-to-toe for the first time.

Darby Allin & Sting vs. The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd)

Truth and Darby start the match. The Outrunners briefly take control and pull Darby away from his corner. Sting takes over and charges against both rivals, who for a moment trust each other and are easily overcome. Scorpion Deathlock to Truth in the middle of the ring for the submission victory.

Winners: Darby Allin & Sting .

Earlier, Hikaru Shida and Toni Storm were interviewed by Tony Schiavone. Shida asks Storm what’s wrong, Toni replies “you happened to me.” Storm says she was planning on becoming the first three-time champion, and again Shida stood in her way. “You can have the title, but you will never have the spotlight,” says Toni and signs the contract for her fight. Hikaru says what always happens will happen: “I’ll beat you at Full Gear.”

Swerve Strickland vs. Penta The Zero Fear

Swerve dominates at the beginning and appears confident. Penta responds and they move on to the Chops exchange. Backstabber by Penta, Swerve gets out of the ring to look for space, Penta prepares to fly but is greeted with an Uppercut in mid-flight. After an exchange of jumps and blows outside, Penta re-enters to jump into Tope con Giro. Penta dominates with hard Chops at ringside, Swerve dodges one by hitting his hand on the post and goes on the attack.

Back in the ring, they trade and reverse moves without gaining a clear advantage. Penta applies a Destroyer on the edge of the ring, puts Swerve back into the ring and looks for height to launch himself into a Foot Stomp for a count of two. Swerve kicks Penta off the other side of the ropes, leaves him hanging and hits a Foot Stomp. Penta dodges a 450 and catches Swerve’s arm to brutally bend it. Made in Japan and a two count on Swerve. Strickland avoids a Fear Factor, applies a DVD and punishes Penta’s arm as the fighter does. Swerve Stomp and count of three.

After the fight, Swerve tries to remove Penta’s mask. Hangman Page appears with a chair ! Page chases Swerve and attacks him with the chair at the entrance. Security personnel come out to stop him but Page attacks them too. Deadeye from the ramp on tables below!

Jay White and Bullet Club Gold are interviewed by Alex Marvez. White mocks Max’s comments about Google Trends, and calling him tofu. Jay says he’s better than everyone and everyone knows it. “I am truly elite and I am going to prove it,” he says.

Video of Don Callis with scenes in Japan and his family attacking rivals. Additionally, there are scenes from the video game Yakuza as Callis says that this is not like the games, but there are consequences to pay in pain and blood. Kenny Omega speaks in the video as well, determined to take down Don Callis.

Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho are interviewed by Renee Paquette. Jericho talks about how they have good friends, like Kota Ibushi and Paul Wight. The Young Bucks interrupt them to criticize them and complain to Omega for teaming up with Jericho. Tension increases, especially between Chris and the Jacksons. “You may be the best team in the world, but Jericho and Omega can beat you,” Chris shoots.

The Bucks launch the challenge for Full Gear, Jericho ups the ante and wants the starting opportunity that the Bucks have if they beat them. The Jacksons also bet something: if they win, Jericho and Omega’s team is over, so that Kenny returns to The Elite. Kenny speaks up and says that if they really want to do this, they will do it.

ROH TV Championship Match: Samoa Joe (c) vs. Keith Lee

Heavyweight duel, hitting and throwing each other from corner to corner. Double Chop by Keith, Joe responds with quick jobs in the corner to take him down. Crossbody from Keith that makes Joe leave the ring to buy time and space. The action continues with hard blows at ringside and more when returning to the ring. The audience begins to chant things about meat, like in the Miro vs. match. Powerhouse Hobbs.

Samoa stops Keith’s offense with a Kneebreaker, giving way to a series of attacks on Lee’s leg. Keith anticipates Joe’s Senton, catches it and applies a German Suplex. Lariats clash, more blows, and a Pop Up Powerbomb that leaves them both prone. When Lee manages to cover Joe, the champion manages to escape the count. Joe traps Keith in the Coquina Clutch until he knocks him unconscious and takes the victory.

Winner: Samoa Joe .

Samoa Joe takes the floor to say that he is the best ROH TV champion of all time. “But I didn’t come here to be his TV champion. I said hunger is what defines the greats, and consider me hungry, because tonight I’m vacating the TV championship,” Joe says. “The next goal will be the AEW World Championship, whether you like it or not Max,” Joe yells.

Orange Cassidy sends a message to Jon Moxley. “I didn’t put together the pieces of Rey Fenix. I put together the pieces of the championship that you lost. Now I’m not myself, and I need to beat you to be the International Champion that I know I am. And in Full Gear, I’m going to beat you,” Orange shoots, now without his glasses.

The Gunns defeat Bollywood Boys in a very brief match. 3.10 to Yuma to immediately finish off the opponents.

Colten and Austin Gunn take the floor to mess with MJF, ensuring that they are generational talents. “In Full Gear, the tag team championships will go to a real team. And if you don’t agree, we have two words…guns up!”

MJF watches from backstage. Samoa Joe approaches and MJF leaves quietly.

Jon Moxley responds accompanied by Wheeler Yuta. He says Orange Cassidy didn’t do anything wrong, but he knew exactly what he was doing by getting into his territory, having a fight with him. “This business is a jungle, and we are predators. If I don’t beat you up, Orange, what example am I giving to this boy, Yuta? That you can do and say what you want. You don’t deserve to make it to Sunday, in “When we get to LAX it will be a gang battle,” says Mox. Yuta adds that he messed with the wrong team.

Video of Wardlow talking about how he felt his potential was not being tapped. “It was because of one man. Max, the days of the devil dominating AEW are coming to an end,” Wardlow says.

Red Velvet vs. Julia Hart

Even start, Julia knocks Velvet down but she responds with blows against the corner. Hart reacts violently by smashing Red’s head against the canvas repeatedly. Hart maintains the offensive, taking Velvet out of the ring and throwing her against the metal steps. Back in the ring, Red Velvet stops her with a kick and several punches. Standing Moonsault and a two count on Julia. Red’s Iconoclasm and another two count. Hart responds, over the corner and launches a Moonsault for the victory.

Winner: Julia Hart .

After the match, Julia Hart continues attacking Red Velvet. Skye Blue comes out to face her and they remain face to face. Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale also come to the ring. Kris gets between Blue and Hart, Julia ends up leaving the ring.

RJ City presents the new AEW fighter: Mariah May . The fighter says that she comes from STARDOM and is very excited to be part of the women’s division. Mariah says she is a fan of RJ and Toni Storm is the reason she came to AEW. RJ offers to introduce them next week, May is excited about her and gives him a kiss on the cheek.

Jay White vs. Mark Briscoe

Mark takes the initiative, Jay stops him with a takedown and Headlock. Briscoe connects Chops and Brainbuster for a two count. Mark corners Jay with blows and takes him out of the ring with an accurate Red Neck Kung Fu strike. Briscoe launches himself at Jay at ringside and threatens Bullet Club Gold. The Gunns grab his feet as he returns to the ring, Jay steps forward and hits a DDT. Mark launches himself into a Cannonball from the edge of the ring, Juice Robinson helps Jay dodge making Mark fall hard to the floor.

Mark reacts with a Missile Dropkick and challenges Jay to throw his best punch. Briscoe overcomes him in the exchange and applies a Neckbreaker for a two count. Death Valley Driver and Mark’s Froggy Bow for a count very close to three. Kiwi Krusher by Jay, Mark narrowly escapes. White continues attacking, hurting the neck and connecting Chops to Mark. Sleeper Suplex for Mark and Blade Runner to finish Briscoe.

After the fight, MJF ‘s music plays . The champion appears from behind and attacks Bullet Club Gold. Max comes face to face with Jay White, who flees with the AEW World Championship. “I hope you had fun playing a tough guy, because your time is running out. You’re going to have to get in the ring with the real generational talent. When I won that title, I promised myself I would be the best champion in AEW history or I would die trying.

That’s what you’re going to deal with, Jay, you’re going to have to kill me to beat me. Because it’s not just for me, for the first time in my life I’m fighting for everyone who’s been on this journey with me since day one. For Adam Cole, for the who are watching me from home, by those who are in the arena,” shouts MJF.

Suddenly, the lights go out, and on the screen you see some masked men attacking The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass. The men in black brutally punish them backstage and throw Anthony Bowens against a window.
