This move signifies AEW’s strategic growth and a potential boost for professional wrestling in the Indian subcontinent. AEW already has some Indian wrestlers performing under its banner. Such as Satnam Singh who was signed with AEW back in 2021. 

Recently Satnam Singh had an interesting interview in Hindustan Times. In which he has discussed multiple topics including bringing AEW to india. Speaking on the situation Satnam Singh Said :

“I have signed with AEW now, and I stay with them always. Every week we travel and we have matches also. We are planning to bring AEW to India and expose it here so that the people in this country know what it is. This is important. The youth should know that something can be done with wrestling too. Children need to find something, analyze your health and power, and see what you can do”

Satnam Singh has revealed AEW is looking to expand beyond. AEW’s strategic decision to expand its reach to India marks a significant milestone in the world of professional wrestling. With a fervent fan base and a rich wrestling culture, the move holds promise for both AEW and Indian enthusiasts.
