AEW Collision

AEW Collision Results for July 8, 2023

AEW Collision Results for July 8, 2023. Tonight’s episode of AEW COLLISION was broadcast live from the Brandt Centre in Regina, SK! Nigel McGuinness and Kevin Kelly were the broadcast team for tonight’s event. It’s Saturday night and you know what that means! Saturday night’s alright for fighting! CM Punk came down to the ring in street clothes to kick off the show, demanding a microphone!

CM Punk:

“I got a big match tonight. There’s some history that needs to be detailed. It’s not just about me and it’s not just about Joe. It’s about everybody here in Hart Stampeded Country! This is the biggest match of my career. If Joe kills me in a dream he better wake up and apologize. Feels like the finals of the tournament but it’s not. I’d be looking past Hobbs and Starks. But tonight, history will be made. Samoa Joe has said it and he is right. 18 years since I’ve been in the ring with Samoa Joe.

I’ve got missing teeth and scars because of this man. Bigger than me, bigger than Joe, bigger than Samoa Joe vs. CM Punk, and that’s Owen Hart! If it wasn’t for Owen Hart a lot of that locker room might be empty right now. I might not be here right now. None of us would be here if it was not for Owen Hart. I am a hockey guy and I know this is a hockey town, but I’m also not superstitious. Will touch the trophy not because I deserve it but because I will earn it!

I cannot promise a victory. I have never beat Samoa Joe. But I believe and one think I can promise you is in that ring, win, lose, or draw, I will leave everything in that ring for you, for me, for you sitting at home, and for Owen!”

While I have to hide in plain sight with my mask. You don’t realize when you took off your mask you had more power. You can’t seem to let go of your mask and you can’t seem to see how great you can be until I show you. Together we will make sure that the entire world will see how truly great I know you are.”

Lexy Nair was backstage with Andrade El Idolo!

“Malakai, look at me. I am a businessman. Do you think I hide behind my mask? I am not a coward like you. My mask is everything to me. It’s about my family. About my culture. My country. About all Latin people. So, when I have my mask on, I forget the business. And when I take my mask off, it’s time to fight, time to win.”
