Hook Wins FTW Championship : AEW Dynamite. Hook is the second generation superstar and a son of the ECW legend Tazz. He is currently working for All Elite Wrestling and he is having a great run alongside Danhausen as his Tag Team partner. He is so young and it felt like it might take a little time for him to win any Championship in AEW.

Surprisingly, Hook shocked everyone by winning the FTW World Championship this week on AEW Dynamite special Fight for the Fallen 2022. Even though the FTW World Championship is not recognised as the official championship of All Elite Wrestling. It plays a significant role on AEW television. Ricky Starks was holding the FTW world championship and he was defending it on AEW Dynamite special Fight for the Fallen against Danhausen.

Starks booted Danhausen in the head. Danhausen fired back with a kick to Starks’ teeth. Starks charged at Danhausen but Danhausen dodged Ricky. Ricky’s own momentum carried him into the corner, ramming his neck in the buckles. Danhausen cradled Ricky for a near fall. Starks was holding his tweaked neck. Ricky Starks sliced Danhausen in half with a spear and pinned Danhausen!

Starks:

“Very nice, very evil, but you’re not absolute. And just like last week, I’ve still got a little bit left in the tank. So let’s bring out another challenger, and I’m for real this time.”

HOOK answered Ricky Starks open challenge! HOOK found his mark with body shots and a headbutt to Starks. He hurled Starks with a pump handle suplex! Starks countered the El Camino with a spear! HOOK got Starks back with the RedRum and Starks tapped out! As Hook won FTW Championship. Starks and HOOK fist bumped after the match, showing mutual respect.

Everyone was shocked to see Hook winning the Championship. And now Hook has a chip on his shoulder to make that FTW Championship relevant and prestigious.
