FINAL COUNTDOWN at Forbidden Door is one time thing. AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2023 was a great pay per view and had really great and Surprises. Like Jungle Boy Jack Perry turning on Hook and Brian Danielson coming out to The Final Countdown theme song.

The song was used by Bryan Danielson during his initial Ring of Honor days and soon people were hooked by it. At that time Bryan Danielson really didn’t have to licence the song for himself because that was on a very short scale. But this time he was under the AEW banner and things were a little different.

All the people were surprised by Bryan coming out to The Final Countdown because he hasn’t used the song since his ROH departure. In the post to media scrum Bryan Danielson shared some inside details for using The Final Countdown at Forbidden Door. He said :

“They want the Zillion Dollars per play. I didn’t even ask for it to be honest. Tony came up with the Idea and I thought it was really cool. I was a little bit angry right before I went out there but then I heard The Final Countdown play. And then it literally put a big smile on my face. I legitimately don’t think that. I have heard that song since I last came with it at the Ring of Honor.”
