Edge’s AEW debut at AEW Wrestle Dream. Today, Multi time WWE champion and record 14 time WWE Tag Team Champion Edge broke the internet, When he made his AEW Debut at AEW Wrestle Dream 2023.
AEW Wrestle Dream 2023 pay-per-view was a defining event by AEW honouring late great Antonio Inoki. The show was headlined by Derby Allin and Christian Cage as they fought for the TNT Championship in 2 out of 3 falls match.
The match was a great bout and Darby Allin and Christian Cage gave their all in it. In the end of the match Christian Cage successfully retained the TNT Championship with unlikely help from Nick Wayne. There was a post match attack on Darby Allin, Sting tried to stop it but numbers were just enough and it happened.
Lights went out, Edge made his most anticipated AEW debut surprising the thousands in attendance. Edge was about to align himself with Christian but surprisingly he blasted Nick Wayne with Steel Chair, Took out Luchasourous but Christian Cage was able to slip out.
AEW Wrestle Dream went off Air with Edge, Darby Allin and Sting Standing Tall. Edge’s AEW coming was inevitable. He was ready to take on new adventures other than WWE after his WWE Departure and AEW was a viable alternative.
