“American Dragon” Bryan Danielson was interviewed by Tony Schiavone!

Bryan Danielson:

“To be honest, I’ve been wrestling for almost 23 years. I don’t know if I’ll ever be 100%. But I don’t need to be 100%, I need to live 100%. And there is nothing that makes me feel more alive than being in this ring.

“And that said, I will never willfully stop wrestling. Daniel Garcia said he wants to slay the dragon. Somebody will have to end my career, because I will not end my career on my own and it will not end this Wednesday.”

Daniel Garcia walked out on the ramp.

Garcia:

“You’re my hero, but it sounds like my hero is prepared to lose and is coming up with excuses. I don’t know how many times we can put up with this. You retire. Bryan you come back. You retire. You come back. It hurts me. And when you hurt me, that makes me want to hurt you too.

“when you step in the ring with me next week, I’m going to hurt you and end your career. And you’re not just going to have to call me the “Dragon Slayer.” You’re going to have to call me the greatest technical sports entertainer on the planet.”

Bryan Danielson:

“You know what really pisses me off? That sports entertainer BS! You were one of the first people I talked about when I started the Blackpool Combat Club. You were one of the best technical wrestlers that I saw in years.

“Think about this on Wednesday when I’m stomping your face in: Do you want to be the best technical sports entertainer on the planet? Do you want to be the best technical wrestler on the planet? I’ll leave that up to you.”
