A big part of me coming here was to finish my career with Christian Cage. Now I’ve started to review my relationship with him… We’ve known each other for 40 years,” he says. Adam, and reviews how and when he met Cage. Adam says he always believed in Christian and recommended him over the years. “Cage diminishes all the work that brought me here.

Sometimes I think that he would continue in his normal job in Canada if it weren’t for me, it’s terrible to think that, but it happens to me,” Copeland confesses. “At this point in life, I’m surprised that we continue doing this, that we have jealousy problems. I never thought about taking the attention or the title away from him, but I know he will fall.

Tony Schiavone introduces Don Callis with much contempt ,

who arrives alongside Powerhouse Hobbs and Konosuke Takeshita . Callis says they made history last week, because no one had ever dominated Chris Jericho like Hobbs did. Powerhouse says that ’98 was going to be his best day, because he could meet Chris Jericho. “I went to the front row with my grandmother to see it, but Jericho walked by and ignored her and yelled at me that he’s going to sit me down. I swore I would look you in the eyes and hurt you over and over and over again,” Hobbs says. “While he was looking at you, Chris, you were lifeless. What did I do? I lifted your ass up and gave you Spinebuster, after Spinebuster, after Spinebuster, and oh damn, I loved it.”

Don Callis says that for years those who said they loved Hobbs advised him to keep his hatred. Now his real family tells him to be what he wants to be, and that’s a killing machine. “We are not done with Chris Jericho. Now we will release Hobbs on AEW, because we are on a roll, we have not been defeated for months. Except for one match, where Sammy Guevara was injured by Jericho. I had to get a replacement, a worker. Kyle Fletcher let us down, Fletcher ruined the Don Callis Family,” says Don.

Kyle Fletcher comes out to face the Don Callis Family.

Hobbs interjects, but Callis tells him that she wants to listen to Kyle, who takes the microphone from him. “As far as I remember, I did that match out of a favor for you, because Will Ospreay said you were on your knees asking me to be a part of it. I may have been the weakest link that night, but tonight I have another chance against Kenny Omega. And I will prove that I don’t need anyone’s help, much less yours, to defeat Kenny Omega,” Kyle shoots. Callis says that he likes his confidence and proposes that they talk next week if he beats Omega today.

Swerve says he should be excited, but he’s not, because he should be celebrating the video of him being the TNT champion, but he can’t because of Hangman Page. “I told you things weren’t personal, but now they are. You don’t want to go to war with someone who doesn’t care about life, and no one cares less about life than me. Remember this: you’re not always going to pay for your actions,” he closes.

Sting is hosted by Tony Schiavone.

Sting wants to say “the word,” but before that he wants to reflect on all his years in the race. He names several wrestlers from the past such as Lex Luger or Dusty Rhodes, whom he calls the most charismatic guy he knows. When he mentions Hulk Hogan there are boos, but Sting recognizes that he has transcended wrestling. He singles out Ric Flair and thanks him for putting him on the map.

“We used to wonder what kept these guys coming back year after year, decade after decade, what motivated them. And here I am, years later. I understand what it’s like. The aroma in the sands, the camaraderie traveling the world, it’s the roar of “You, the fans. That keeps us coming back for more. Is my body the same as it was 20 years ago?” says Sting and wonders if he should continue jumping from balconies. People shout yes and that they still have it.

“I know you think so, I already retired once. Yes, I said the word ‘retire’. But that retirement didn’t sit well with me. Plus there was a key moment in the ‘retirement speech’ and that is that with Sting nothing is said “Which brings me to the word ‘retirement’ again,” says Sting. “My first match in AEW was at Revolution 2021. And my last match will be at Revolution 2024,” he announces. “Another key thing you need to know. The only certain thing about Sting is that my retirement at Revolution 2024 is safe,” he closes.
