AEW Dynamite Results January 3, 2024. Christian Cage will lead a meeting with his allies after beating Adam Copeland at AEW Worlds End. TBS broadcast episode number 222 of AEW Dynamite today, January 3 , live from the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.

Video of Samoa Joe speaking last Saturday after his victory against MJF to become the AEW World Champion. “I came into your neighborhood, in front of your friends and family, and took everything from you. You may be trash…but I’m a heartless son of a bitch. I always…always take what belongs to me. I’m Samoa Joe, the AEW World Champion. And I will take everything from anyone who tries to take this from me,” Joe shoots.

Adam Cole ‘s music plays but is soon cut off, giving way to a new song and new graphics on the giant screen. The screen says “Undisputed”, and gives way to Adam Cole and his group consisting of Wardlow, The Kingdom and Roderick Strong.

Strong orders everyone to be quiet so he can listen to his best friend, Adam. Cole says it’s ironic that people were shocked and disgusted by what happened at World’s End. “Either they’re stupid or they don’t know right from wrong,” Adam says, calling MJF the guy who’s made the most enemies in AEW. “And I’m the bad guy?”

Adam wonders.

“MJF is a narcissist, the only person he cares about is MJF. And he had the title too long ago, it was time for a change. You don’t know it now, but the majority of that locker room will thank me. Most of you will do it, even Tony Khan will do it. MJF is gone and he’s not coming back,” Adam says.

Regarding the reasons why he did it, Adam says that he never needed MJF, but MJF did need him. “I sacrificed everything for that friendship. That’s how I broke my ankle. I lost something, not him,” Cole shouts. Adam says that people wouldn’t love MJF if it weren’t for him, and that just as he saved him the title, he also made him lose it.

“This is about ripping out a man’s heart and bringing him to his knees. MJF is dead,” Cole shouts when the crowd turns against him the most. Cole says that everyone wants gold: The Kingdom have the ROH tag team titles, Strong will go for the International, Warldow will go for the world championship. “When the time is right and I’m healed, Wardlow will do the right thing and give the championship to me. But speaking of which, congratulations to Samoa Joe,”

Adam Cole says.

“It was a pleasure doing business with you. It was no problem attacking Hangman Page for you. But Joe, I honestly want to say this, I hope that when Wardlow is ready to challenge you for the championship that you are not the champion, because it would really hurt to hurt a friend,” Cole says. “We were tired and fed up of waiting for a change. AEW needed a change and we gave it to them. The Undisputed Kingdom begins a new chapter. The Devil is here to stay, bay bay,” he closes.

Jay White comes out to face them. “I’m very happy to see that you haven’t lost yours, but what I don’t like is that I was collateral damage,” White says, remembering when the rest of the team attacked him. “Now, I’m not alone,” White says. Austin and Colten Gunn join White and advance to the ring to face the Undisputed Kingdom. The Acclaimed join them to drive away the Undisputed Kingdom !
