AEW Collision October 21, 2023 Results. Ricky Starks and Big Bill will defend the Couples Championships against Blackpool Combat Club tonight in Memphis. Bryan Danielson will face Andrade El Idolo for the first time in his career

The two men test their strength in the first moments. Andrade manages to grab the arm before being whipped away. Bryan reverses a key to his back and begins a brief search for the account. They both engage in a quick lock on the canvas that makes the fans react. Danielson takes a Romero Special before being reversed with a Figure Four attempt.
Bryan lands blows to the chest and falls to ringside thanks to the games of his rival. The BCC man applies a knee from the edge of the ring before the first break of the night.
Bryan maintains dominance until receiving a Crossbody that leaves both men against the canvas. Andrade takes a kick that leaves his rival at ringside, where he receives a Moonsault from the second rope.
They both struggle on the third. Danielson pushes his opponent away for a Missile Dropkick and goes for kicks to the chest, but Andrade starts a series of Dragon-screw Legs. Stomp and Running Knees on a Danielson tied to the third rope! Bryan escapes with a jump and stomps on the head of his rival.
He tries to submit him, but receives the Figure Four which he escapes before switching into a Figure Eight. The Idol dodges a Psycho Knee, and engages in an exchange of Roll-Ups until Danielson achieves the Crucifix. 1…2…3…
The two men show respect to each other. The lights suddenly go out. Malakai Black knocks out Bryan Danielson with his Spin Kick !
Darby Allin talks about the betrayal he received at the hands of Nick Wayne in WrestleDream, and points out what happened last Wednesday as a show of revenge. He assures that he will be present at AEW Dynamite to accompany give “a special gift” to Sting on behalf of Tony Khan.
Blue quickly dominates with a knee to the face and several blows to the head. After fierce corporal punishment, a Roll-Up is enough to give Skye the victory.
Austin stomps Magnum in the corner and pushes Floyd away. Colten takes over and keeps the offense in his favor. Both Gunns end the match quickly with a team DDT for the three count.
The figure with the mask of The Devil is present on the screens! The public shouts MJF’s name despite not revealing who is behind the attack on Jay White.
Orange Cassidy is interviewed backstage, but Kris Statlander interrupts to use the interviewer as warm-up weight. Both feel ready for Battle of the Belts and their respective starting defenses.
Legendary Memphis Wrestling commentator Dave Brown joins the announce table for the next match.
Jarrett looks for an ambush during his opponent’s entrance, but Eddie is smarter and attacks with Kendo sticks. The double champion attacks Jarrett on a snack table and throws buns in his face. Kingston resists the blows of his rival and positions him on a table. Karen Jarrett scratches Eddie’s face! A Cutter from Jay Lethal sends the champion onto a table before the commercial break.
Jeff damages his opponent’s leg with a steel pipe and a trash can. He continues to punish the fighter with multiple objects in the ring. Jeff goes for the Figure Four and Jay looks for a jump on Eddie, but he rolls in time and escapes the lock to start the counteroffensive. He retaliates with blows to the chest on Jeff and his allies.
Satnam hits a guitar at ringside that distracts Kingston, who receives a Stroke from Jarrett in response. The double champion is cornered by all the toughs. Lethal Injection by Jay and a count of three by Jarrett.
CJ Perry takes position at ringside for the next match.
The Bulgarian takes the first offensive with stomps on the corner. Andretti responds with several Dropkicks that stun Miro, but not enough to knock him down. Action takes several Lariats and is dragged to ringside, where he falls onto the steel steps and the barricade.
We return from the break with Andretti separating a padlock around his neck. Miro falls out of the ring, where he receives a Moonsault that leaves him against the canvas. Already in the ring, The Best Man catches his rival in the air and hopes to finish it with his Game Over, but Action dives and applies two DDTs. Miro receives a Springboard 450, but the bill only reaches one. A kick to the face stops Andetti, who receives the Game Over and falls unconscious.
Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard and Angelo Parker are interviewed backstage. The trio claims they are ready for their battle in Battle of the Belts, but end up arguing over a brief disagreement. Parker has a brief clash with Ruby Soho , who demands a shot at the Championship she has long deserved. Soho will face Hikaru Shida at the next AEW Dynamite .
We watch a La Faccion Ingobernable meeting , with Rush complaining that AEW has denied him television time with the excuse of being “someone dangerous.” The story of this faction will continue soon.
Eddie Kingston asks for camera time backstage. He claims that Jay Lethal was a lover of professional wrestling before starting his alliance with Jeff Jarrett. He is disappointed in the man The Franchise has become, and claims that he feels sad about having to defeat him in front of his mother the next time they cross paths.
Brown gains the advantage against Harwood, but is launched into his partner with a Military Press Slam. The lights go out unexpectedly. The House of Black face FTR!
Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews and Brody King leave FTR against the canvas and slowly leave after achieving their ambush.
Samoa Joe vs. Tony Nese for the ROH Television Championship joins the AEW Battle of the Belts broadcasts after this show.
Jim Ross makes his entrance and positions himself at the announce table for tonight’s main event.
Yuta tangles Starks’ arm and traps him in a neck lock. Bill takes over and gains a quick advantage against the BCC man. The champions remain ahead heading into the commercial break. Ricky moves Claudio away from the corner, making it difficult for Yuta to make space for the tag. Bill follows the punishment with elbows and powerslams.
Yuta manages to get the rival away from him in time and Castagnoli goes into action for the first time in this fight. Starks receives several Lariats in the corner and attacks him with the Old School followed by a Dropkick. The BCC guy takes several Uppercuts before the last commercial break of the night.
Claudio keeps the sale with a European Uppercut. Ricky escapes the Riccola Bomb and leaves his opponent served with the Tornado DDT for a Big Boot from his partner. Bill is picked up by Castagnoli for a Dropkick by Yuta. The giant applies a loud Lariat and Starks enters the ring to maintain the advantage in favor of his team. Claudio takes over and pulls Bill away from the corner.
He attacks Starks quickly and catches him in the Swiss Swing for a Dropkick from his partner. Bill goes for a double Chokeslam, but his rivals push him away from the ring and prepare to end the fight. House of Black start an ambush against BCC! Yuta is pushed towards Starks, who finishes the match with his RoShamBo for the victory.
House of Black join the winners and punish Yuta and Claudio. Bryan Danielson and FTR appear to even the numbers. JON MOXLEY RETURNS TO AEW ! BCC and FTR take advantage and leave their opponents out of the ring. Starks sneaks into the ring, but ends up receiving attacks from his opponents to close out Collision.
