Tony Khan on AEW Brand Split. With their new weekly TV show AEW Collision right on the Horizon, AEW is going to get a lot more TV time. This is going to open the new Window of opportunity for certain wrestlers who haven’t been utilised on regular weekly television.
As the new show AEW Collision is set to make its debut, speculation started running that AEW would make a roster split for both shows AEW Dynamite & Collision.
Speaking with Barstrool Rasslin, AEW chairman Tony Khan has commented on the possible lost split of AEW superstars. Khan said:
But I also think that gives us a great opportunity to showcase certain wrestlers. On both Dynamite and Collision at certain times. And certain stories that can cross the shows. Think the champions of AEW will be the champions on every show, and frankly, every promotion in the world. We’re not shy about the AEW wrestlers going out and taking on the top stars, top competition from other companies,”
The roster we have is so strong, I believe we have so many great wrestlers, it’s impossible to showcase them all in three hours of television. Now, it’s a much better opportunity with five hours of television. Across five hours of television, we can really utilise the roster much more frequently. And utilise our great wrestlers more than they’ve ever been used before, so I’m very excited.”
For now Tony Khan hasn’t thought about any hard roster Split, but sometime in future it may happen. We’ll be covering more on this so stay tuned and remember…the home of professional wrestling is All Elite Wrestling! For more updates follow AEWHindi.com.
