Jon Moxley retained his IWGP United States Championship

Jon Moxley retained his IWGP United States Championship. Due to the current and ongoing partnership of AEW and NJPW. Jon Moxley is able to work for NJPW and he is the current IWGP United States Champion. Due to the current pandemic Jon Moxley was unable to go to Japan to defend his IWGP United States Championship. That’s why NJPW legend Yuji Nagata came to face Jon Moxley in AEW.

 This week’s AEW Dynamite show opened with a one on one match between Jon Moxley and Yuji Nagata. The match was for the IWGP United States Championship under the NJPW rules. Jon Moxley had the advantage in this match as he started to attack Yuji Nagata viciously.

Yuji Nagata made his comeback in this match with hard kicks and German suplexes. There were also too many close kick outs. Jon Moxley went for the bulldog choke but Yuji Nagata came with his own submission. Finally Jon Moxley managed to hit Yuji Nagata with his finisher paradigm shift for the three count.

Jon Moxley managed to defeat Yuji Nagata on AEW Dynamite and both had the respect for each other. This is another successful title defence for Jon Moxley and it seems like he is undefeatable for that Championship.
