At first AEW revealed that Cody Rhodes has suffered an injury to his left shoulder. They stated that :
Following the recording of Coach’s Corner. It was confirmed by AEW medical team that Cody Rhodes suffered a slight tear of his left rotator cuff during his tag team match on Dynamite. His status is TBD.AEW
AEW did not provided any update regarding to Cody Rhodes injury. That for how much time he will be out of action and what is his current status. But after the Dynamite show while speaking on his wrestling observer podcast. Dave Meltzer discussed the current situation of Cody Rhodes and his injury. During wrestling observer podcast Dave Meltzer said that :
“I was told that when Cezar gave Cody the overhead SOS Slam, I think it’s called, Cody landed on the side of his shoulder, suffered a minor rotator cuff tear. It is believed that he will be fine for the match with Shaq, but he did get injured. So, I guess we’ll follow up on that.”Dave Meltzer
As of Dave Meltzer’s discussion we can understand that Cody Rhodes will be fine in upcoming two to four weeks. That means will be fine before his upcoming use match against Shaquille o’neal.
