Chris Jericho signs AEW contract extension. Chris Jericho has been the real pillar of AEW from the start. He was the biggest signing at the company’s launch; first ever AEW World Heavyweight champion and a man who carried the company in its initial days.
She had signed a multi year deal with AEW in start of 2019. Which was believed to be a 3 year contract deal. That means his 2019 deal must have expired in 2022.
As AEW just has announced that Chris Jericho has signed a multi year deal with AEW. Securing his future with the company for upcoming years. AEW put out a press release saying that :
“Chris Jericho, the Ring of Honor World Champion and leader of the Jericho Appreciation Society, has signed a contract extension through December 2025, keeping sports entertainment alive and well in AEW for the foreseeable future. Jericho will also increase his responsibilities within AEW, serving as a producer and creative advisor in addition to continuing as a mentor to young talent.”
With this press release AEW has confirmed that Chris Jericho has signed a three year contract extension with AEW. And he will also have some additional responsibilities as a producer and creative advisor of AEW.
