AEW Viewership Crossed 1 Million Mark – 14 April 2021. This week’s AEW Dynamite show was a regular Dynamite show featuring great Matches and progress in their storylines. The show had one of the great matches in AEW as Darby Allin defended his TNT Championship against Matt Hardy in Falls count anywhere match in the main event. Mike Tyson was also on the show who surprisingly joined the inner circle.
The special thing about this week’s Dynamite show was it was not in head to head competition against any wrestling shows such as WWE NXT. Because due to USA Network’s dispute they were forced to move their shows to thursdays. This opened huge doors for AEW to increase their viewership.
This week AEW Dynamite show scored a huge viewership of 1.219 million viewers. Which is up by 55% then that of their last week’s viewership which was just 688,000 viewers. This shows that AEW has a potential to reach 1 million mark but due to the Wednesday Night Wars with WWE NXT. They couldn’t do it as viewers get separated between two shows.
AEW viewership also saw a significant increase in their 18 to 49 viewers demographic. As of this week AEW scored 0.44 viewers in the 18 to 49 demographic which is roughly 44% up from last week’s 18 to 49 demographic which was 0.28. The Show ranked #26 in top 150 cable TV programs overall viewership and at rank #2 in top 150 cable TV programs 18 to 49 demographic viewership.
