AEW Rampage Results October 6, 2023: Johnny TV, Lince Dorado, Komander and Penta El Zero M will look for an opportunity at the ROH World Championship Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida will seek a victory against Nyla Rose and Marina Shafir.

The Hardys (Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy) and Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta) vs. Matt Menard, Angelo Parker, Jake Hager and Daniel Garcia

Chuck dominates Angelo and leaves him against the canvas along with his partner. Daniel and Jeff enter the ring, with the second one surpassing his rival before receiving an attack behind the rude guys’ backs. The Hardys have a hard time in their opponents’ corner until Matt manages to take over. The eight men enter the ring, where The Hardys and Best Friends obtain a successful offensive against their rivals.

We return from the break with Trent taking over from Matt to keep the offense in his favor. The eight men exchange attacks until Garcia accidentally throws one of his companions onto Anna Jay. The rude man falls with a Twist of Fate from Matt and Swanton Bomb from Jeff.

Winners: The Hardys and Best Friends on account of three

Backstage, Eddie Kingston looks confident in defending his ROH and NJPW World titles anytime, anywhere. Sonjay Dutt appears with his team and clarifies that the champion disrespected Jay Lethal by not accepting his challenge. Eddie assures that he will only challenge him if he proves suitable. Stokely Hathaway listens from afar, and extends a proposal to Dutt that could help him with his problem.

Team Match

Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta) vs. Colt Stevens and Levi Shapiro

Shapiro is overcome by Yuta before receiving elbows from Claudio. Colt tries to help his partner, but Wheeler pulls him away from the action. Stevens takes the Swiss Swing and tags Wheeler in for an assisted Frog Splash. 1…2…3…

Winners: Blackpool Combat Club by three

Backstage, Daniel Garcia comes into conflict with his ex-JAS colleagues. Angelo Parker tries to convince his team that they are still family, but tensions are far from over.

Opportunity to the ROH World Championship

Lince Dorado vs. Johnny TV vs. Penta El Zero M vs. Komander

Penta and Johnny start evenly until their rivals throw them to ringside with a double Dropkick. After the Suicide Stop, the two masked men seek to break through with a lock. Lince leaves his opponent behind and Penta appears to gain the advantage. He manages to throw himself at his two rivals before being pushed by Johnny.

We return from the break with the QTV man attacking Dorado. Komander tries to keep up with him and is taken to the highest corner. Lince goes up with him and they chain Hurracaranas with Johnny TV. The debutant applies a high Moonsault on his opponents. Komander runs over the third rope with the same objective. 450 Splash on Dorado and victory for the one with the blue mask.

Winner: Komander on account of three

Ortiz complains to Mike Santana for not appearing backstage to resolve their differences. Half of the already disarmed Proud’N’Poweful promise that he will expose the real Santana as soon as he manages to confront him.

Team Match

Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida vs. Nyla Rose and Marina Shafir

Shafir pushes Kris towards ringside and both heels begin the offensive before the bell rings. Shida finds herself trapped by Marina’s hold, and is easily trapped in her opponent’s corner. Hikaru escapes from Shafir and pushes himself up for an elbow to the face. Nyla stops her again and things remain difficult heading into the final commercial break.

Statlander recovers and finally takes over, punishing both of his opponents from one corner to the other. Nyla falls with a Bodyslam and her partner tries to assist her. Shida takes over and throws herself at two of her opponents at ringside. After connecting with a Falcon Arrow, the former women’s champion launches herself at Nyla on her partner’s shoulders. Marina receives the Katana followed by Saraya’s signature Night Cap to close the fight.

Winners: Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander on three counts
