AEW Rampage Results February 9, 2024. The Undisputed Kingdom will seek a victory against Orange Cassidy, Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero in Phoenix, Arizona. Mistico and The Young Bucks will return to action tonight. Tonight we will once again enjoy a new live follow-up of AEW Rampage . The All Elite Wrestling show will air from the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
The action begins early at ringside, with the six men exchanging blows on the entrance ramp. The bell rings with Beretta gaining the advantage over Bennett. Taven and Strong suffer the same fate. Cassidy takes over and falls on Matt. Mike gets a Slumdog Millionaire and calls Roderick to the ring. Spinebuster by Bennett! Romero and Beretta support their partner and clear the area, but Cassidy receives a Superkick to the chin.
We return from the break with a low blow against Orange, who receives a Meltzer Driver courtesy of The Kingdom. Beretta tries to outmaneuver his team, but his efforts are in vain. Rocky launches himself on the ROH champions and gains offense on them. Roderick appears to help his teammates and allows a combination that gives them the victory.
After the match, Rocky Romero is thrown over two chairs, landing with his back against the steel edge.
Matthew corners Lit with stomps in the corner and leaves him on the canvas with a Lariat. Nicholas calls out to Mondo, who is quickly sent to the ground. The referee is distracted and Matthew hits a low blow. EVP Trigger and victory of executive vice presidents.
The Young Bucks take the microphone. Nicholas demands respect from the public and asks that they be called by their birth names. Matthew congratulates Sting and Darby Allin on their victory on Dynamite, but reveals that their goal is to earn the title opportunity they lost in the first place. Both anticipate their fight against Top Flight next week on Dynamite as “the first step.”
After an even start, Sydal successfully hits a Hurracarana before receiving it back. The masked man jumps over the second rope and gains momentum again, but receives a kick in response. Matt punishes his rival’s back before the commercial break.
Matt keeps the punishment against his opponent’s back, who manages to recover in time to keep the offensive in his favor. They both go up to the highest corner, where Mistico ends the fight with a Spanish Fly for the victory.
Backstage, Brian Cage issues a challenge to any AEW team for a Handicap match at Collision, ensuring that it will serve as a “warm-up” to face Hook soon.
Ruby gets the upper hand on both opponents before Harley Cameron shows up for an illegal attack. An angry Soho relieves her partner before the final commercial break. Willow maintains the offensive against Saraya and both women take over. Ruby takes a knee to her face and Kris stops her against the canvas.
The Glampire appears for a combo attack. Willow tries to help, but is thrown out of the ring. Ruby receives an accidental hit from her partner! Saraya continues struggling and looks for relief, but Soho refuses and leaves the ring. Willow closes the match with a Powerbomb for the victory.
Skye Blue faces tonight’s two winners. Julia Hart appears next to her and raises the title before both of them to end the episode. As AEW Rampage went off Air.
