AEW Grand Slam Off Air : Eddie Kingston address crowd

AEW Grand Slam Off Air : Eddie Kingston address crowd. This week AEW held their special edition shows AEW Dynamite special Grand Slam and two hours of AEW Rampage special Grand Slam. Both the shows were stacked with great matches such as Kenny Omega vs Bryan Danielson for AEW Dynamite Grand Slam; and CM Punk Vs Powerhouse Hobbs for AEW Rampage Grand Slam.

The main event for AEW Rampage Grand Slam was a lights out match between Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston Vs Lance Archer and Minuru Suzuki. The match was a great match and it certainly lived up to the lights out stipulation. New York wrestling legend Homicide also made his debut on the show to surprise hometown crowd. The show went off air as Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley picked up the victory. But Eddie Kingston to a mic address his hometown fans and he said:

“I love you, New York! I’m so proud of us! I’m so proud of each and every one of you. Ladies and gentlemen, my mentor, my man, my hero, The Notorious 187, Homicide! Jon Moxley! Mom! Mom, I know you’re here. Thank you for putting up with me. I love you, Ma! I love you! Marc Gordon, rest in peace! I miss you Uncle Kevin, rest in peace! Guess what though? I’ll give an interview, I feel nice, I don’t give a f*** about the time. Before certain people got here, we sold this mother out. Hold on. And we put our flag down in New York in the dirt. But with those people that just joined us, we’ve retook our flag and put it in cement. New York is now AEW’s town! And if you don’t like it?!”

This was a great way to send the crowd home happily. This wasn’t the first time Eddie Kingston took a mic and delivered great promo after the show went off air.
