Jay punishes Swerve’s shoulder against the post, looks for height but Strickland stops him with blows and applies a Superplex.

Wheeler Yuta faces Orange Cassidy, Hook and Katsuyori Shibata backstage. Yuta tells Shibata to watch his next match in ROH, and states that he will regain the ROH Pure Championship.

MJF and Adam Cole come out to the ring, Max with a cane and Adam on crutches. MJF talks about having defeated Jay White despite being on one leg, and recognizes him as one of the best fighters. “No one is on the level of the devil, though,” he adds. MJF claims to be the greatest champion of all time, but none of this is possible without his brush.

Adam Cole takes the floor and says that he has a long road ahead of him before fighting again, but he promises to work hard to do what he loves to do again and be the best Adam Cole possible. “Max, I’m really worried about you. I want to be by your side, and I’m worried that everyone is out to get you,” Adam says. MJF responds that he should not worry and sends a message to the devil masked man, saying that he will make him live hell. Suddenly, the lights go out and the Devil laughs on the screen.

When the light returns.

Samoa Joe goes out to the ring. Joe remembers that MJF would give him a title shot if he helped him in the tag team match against The Gunns. MJF says that he thought about his treatment and disrespectfully rejects the rematch. Joe grabs him by the neck, Adam asks him to stop and tries to make Max reconsider. “My friend is a man of his word. Joe is a killer, I know, he gave me some of the toughest fights of my life. But Max, these people don’t just love you because you’re a great fighter, they love you because what MJF says, it will pass,” Cole says. “You promised this man a chance, be a man of your word, Max,” Adam insists.

MJF responds. “You want to beat me, Joe? You wouldn’t be the first ROH legend I’ve beaten in Chicago,” he shoots, and challenges them to have the match right now. Joe says absolutely not. “Tomorrow you would complain on the internet that you weren’t 100%, that you weren’t prepared to be in the ring. No Max, you see, I want your best version, the man who says he is standing in front of me. So I say, for Worlds End, you should be ready to be in the ring and put the title on the line,” Joe responds. MJF accepts the challenge .

Samoa Joe says that Max is his property, and therefore, he will prevent the devil from hurting him. “I’ll hurt you, I’ll knock you unconscious in front of your friends and family,” Joe signs off.

Danhausen is back!

Matt Menard, Angelo Parker & Jake Hager vs. Orange Cassidy, Hook & Katsuyori Shibata

Menard takes advantage of his teammates attacking the opponents and takes control of Hook, who is then kept away from his corner with several tags. T-Bone Suplex for Parker and finally Hook manages to take over from Orange. Cassidy charges at the rivals, hits a DDT on Matt but receives a Body Slam from Hager. Stundog Millionaire for Hager and he relieves Shibata, who comes in to exchange blows with Jake.

Danhausen puts on the purple hat that Jake Hager wore, causing the wrestler to chase him and end up receiving a curse. Hook and Shibata control Menard and Parker with keys, exchange them and finish off for the victory.

Winners: Orange Cassidy, Hook & Katsuyori Shibata.

Adam Cole is interviewed by Renee Paquette. He says he is proud that MJF accepts Samoa Joe’s challenge and keeps his word. Roderick Strong and The Kingdom interrupt him. Strong complains about him not being at AEW Collision on Saturday, but Cole yells at him that he is no longer his best friend and to leave him alone once and for all.

Christian Cage arrives with Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne to rename them.

Cage says that he wants to speak with all sincerity and honesty, to say that he did not lose that fight. Nick Wayne didn’t miss it either. Luchasaurus yes. “Their lives have only gotten better since they’ve been with me. And since they’re both my children, it’s time to create them in my image,” Cage says. He asks Luchasaurus to get on his knees.

The monster doesn’t obey the order right away, Cage yells at him and treats him like an idiot until Luchasaurus lowers one knee. “Your name is associated with defeat. I thought about it a lot until I came up with a name of strength, of power, one that will always have to do with victory. You are my finishing touch. This Saturday at Collision you will have the chance to prove it, because From now on you will be known as Killswitch ,” says Christian.

Nick Wayne immediately lowers his knee when he hears his name, but Cage tells him to never do that for any other name. “You are special, you are the son I never had, the golden boy. I see things in you that I never saw in anyone, you are me. I love you, Nick, you are the golden boy and you will be known as The Prodigy Nick Wayne,” says Cage.

Nick Wayne’s mother enters the ring to talk to her son.

Cage asks her what she is doing there and calls her a terrible mother. Cage criticizes her for not making enough money as a wench. “Look at me, I’m a legend, a champion, I can give the world to Nick, you can’t give him anything. It’s a good thing that your husband is dead now… because Nick would have abandoned him because his father was never as good a wrestler as me

“Buddy Wayne was not the father or the man that I am,” says Cage. “If you had played your cards right things would be different, but that’s a matter for another day. Get out of my ring right now,” says Cage. Luchasaurus stands between Nick’s mother and Christian, who orders him to get on his knees.

“Stop giving me that stupid look, Killswitch, get on your knees,” Cage orders and slaps him. He threatens Killswitch to take off his mask and show his face to the world. Christian pushes Killswitch, causing him to collide with Nick’s mother, who hits the ropes and is left prone.

Nick Wayne comes out of the ring and puts two chairs in. Cage prepares to conchairto Nick’s mother, but stops. He orders Killswitch to be the one to throw the blow. The monster hesitates and delays in launching the blow.

Adam Copeland comes to the rescue !

Adam connects a Spear to Nick and threatens Cage, who is saved by Killswitch. Another Spear to Nick! Impaler DDT for Nick by Adam. Conchairto Nick!

Matt Menard, Angelo Parker and Jake Hager are interviewed along with Anna Jay.

They’re all upset about the loss, but Anna wants to be the one to do the talking. She says she is tired of defeats and assures that she will finish off Ruby Soho tonight. Anna asks Angelo if she will be in her corner, while she looks at a photo of Ruby on Parker’s phone.

Continental Classic – Gold League: Rush vs. Jay White

Rush challenges Jay to put his guts into the fight and then aggressively take control. White gets out of the ring, Rush goes for him and stops him with a hard Chop. Upon returning to the ring, White manages to respond with some offense but is again overcome by Rush’s power. DDT by Jay to change the situation, he takes Rush out of the ring and crashes him into the barricade.

Brainbuster by Rush and a two count. Hard Knee Strike from Rush, Jay responds with Uranage but it’s not enough. He looks for the Bladerunner but Rush escapes to move on to a new exchange of Chops. Dragon Screw by White, Rush receives him with a Suplex towards the corner. Jay almost crashes into the referee, and takes advantage of the moment of distraction to land a low kick on Rush and finish him off with the Bladerunner.

Winner: Jay White.

Jay White gets his first three points in the Continental Classic .

RJ City and Renee Paquette introduce Toni Storm like it’s an Oscar-style awards show. Toni Storm comes out with Luther and Mariah May to give a speech to accept the championship. Before she finishes the ceremony, Skye Blue interrupts to come out to fight her.

Skye Blue vs. Ruby Soho vs. Anna Jay

Ruby takes the initiative and corners both rivals. Angelo grabs Skye’s foot to distract her and help Anna, who takes control of the encounter. Soho takes Jay out of the ring to throw her against the barricade and goes after Blue. Ruby meets Angelo at ringside, but both Saraya and Daddy Magic push them away. Anna takes the opportunity to kick Ruby’s head and return her to the ring. Skye tries the Code Blue on Anna but Jay reverses. Ruby arrives just in time to break the score.

Daddy Magic catches Ruby’s leg and argues with Saraya again. On the other side, Ruby falls from the ring straight into Cool Hand’s arms. Once again, they are separated by their respective friends. While Saraya argues with Ruby, Skye applies a Cutter to Anna and takes the victory.

Winner: Skye Blue .

Wardlow is interviewed by Renee Paquette. “The world does not revolve around MJF, his downfall will be in my time,” says Wardlow regarding what he is waiting for. AR Fox appears to say that she understands. Wardlow responds that he doesn’t need anyone’s advice and knocks him down with a headbutt to the face.

Continental Classic – Gold League: Mark Briscoe vs. Jon Moxley

Mark takes control at the beginning and launches a Neckbreaker from the edge of the ring to the outside. Jon responds by pulling Mark out of the ring and hurting his forehead, which he begins to bleed. Mox goes on to injure Mark’s hand, bending and stepping on his fingers. Piledriver from Mox for a two count, Mark turns on and responds with an elbow followed by a Suplex. Mox surprises with a Paradigm Shift, Mark reacts to pure adrenaline with a Dropkick and both are left prone.

Death Valley Driver by Mark who immediately seeks height for a Froggy Bow. Moxley escapes just after the count of three! Exchange of blows, Stomp by Mox and Death Rider for the victory over Mark.
