AEW Anthony Bowens gives his injury update. If you are watching AEW Dynamite, Dark, Dark Elevation or any of these AEW shows closely. Then you may know that AEW have a really good tag team known as The Acclaimed. The duo consists of Max Caster and Anthony Bowens. Caster is a mouthpiece and Bowens is a powerhouse in the group.
Few weeks ago while talking on his wrestling observer podcast. Dave Meltzer revealed that Anthony Bowens might be suffering from an injury because he was not present on Dynamite shows and tapings. Max Caster was all alone and he was doing all the work for his team. Later it was confirmed that Anthony Bowens is suffering through a knee torn meniscus injury. This week on AEW Dark Elevation show, there was a segment involving Paul Wight and The Acclaimed. In that segment Paul Wight was taking The Acclaimed’s interview. During that interview Anthony Bowens has given some updates regarding his injury. He said :
“I have been wrestling with torn meniscus since late November last year. I had my surgery and currently I am recovering from it. I’ve got all your emails and good wishes from you fans and the good news is my recovery is going well and I am coming back as soon as possible. And as strong as never been before. So Bucks be ready for The Acclaimed.”
Via Anthony Bowens’s this statement we can understand that Anthony’s recovery is going well. And he is hoping that he will be back in the ring as soon as possible. As of now we don’t know the exact date but I think that he might see him returning to the action in one or two weeks. After his return there will be so many great matches for him on either Dynamite or dark elevation show. And they might challenge the young bucks for their world Tag Team championships too.
