10 Wrestlers against whom Wardlow should defend his TNT Championship. Last week on the AEW Dynamite show; Wardlow defeated Scorpio Sky to become the new TNT Champion. This is just the start of Wardlow’s TNT Championship title reign and he has to face a wide variety of Challengers. There are multiple superstars in AEW we would love Wardlow’s to go up against. But Here’s the Top 10 Wrestlers against whom Wardlow should defend his TNT Championship.

10. Brian Cage.

  Brian Cage is AEW’s one of the monster wrestlers. His career has been on and off for several times in AEW. He reached his prime in his first year but since then he lost to Jon Moxley for AEW World Championship. His AEW career is lost in the shuffle. Now he is working for ROH and it seems like he’ll be the top star in their roster. But he can always return to AEW television for any match. So why shouldn’t it be for the TNT Championship against Wardlow. For the first time ever.

9. Lance Archer.

  Lance Archer is AEW’s monster. He’s been part of multiple great matches in AEW. Mostly with and against Jon Moxley. Even with that Lance Archer never really got a title opportunity for any AEW championship. Wardlow and Lance Archer had their match in AEW but it was under different circumstances. Lance Archer as MJF’s workhorse and he lost. But if he had no pressure on him, this time Lance Archer could take the TNT Championship away from Wardlow in a great Monster versus Monster fight.

8. Samoa Joe.

  Samoa Joe is really really great talent but since he got in his 40s, he has been mostly injured. But even when he got a chance he has shown that he can really take the opportunity and deliver great matches. Samoa Joe has just started his AEW career and a match against the TNT champion like Wardlow; Could really Elevate Samoa Joe’s AEW career. This could also help to elevate Wardlow’s AEW career; because a win over a superstar like Samoa Joe would really solidify Wardlow as a star who has defeated ROH’s Hall of Famer.

7. Keith Lee.

Keith Lee is also a wrestler who could have been a great star in WWE. And even though he had some great moments in WWE. WWE never really utilised him in the same way that now AEW is utilising him. Since his debut he had been in a great tag team with Swerve Strickland. But with that he is also delivering some singles matches. So if he had a chance to give a banger against Wardlow for the TNT Championship, We would not wait.

6. Claudio Castagnoli.

  Claudio Castagnoli or otherwise we know him as Cesaro. Has a great potential to be the top star in any wrestling company that he has worked for. Now he is in AEW and has a great room for him to grow and deliver great Matches and be the top star in AEW. So it would be a fantastic way to push him to the top with a great TNT championship match against Wardlow. 

5. Darby Allin.

  If there is any home grown AEW talent which is most popular then the top stars of AEW then it is Darby Allin. Darby had a great time in AEW, starting as a Rookie, showcasing himself against then world champion Jon Moxley, being TNT Champion and now aligning himself with one of the greatest ever Sting. It Was Darby Allin’s great AEW career but he never got a singles rematch for the TNT Championship. So if there are any chances for Darby to get his TNT Championship back then it should be against Wardlow. 

4. Paul Wight.

  Paul Wight aur most popularly known as the Big Show in WWE. Is the world’s largest athlete. Paul signed with AEW in 2020. And he had signed a Wrestlers and a broadcasters contract with AEW. Which means he will be wrestling in AEW occasionally. Until now he had only two to three matches in AEW which were nice but not great. He is a great superstar and if he decides to walk in the ring for one more time against Wardlow then it will be historic. And Wardlow will be honoured.

3. Miro.

Since joining AEW Miro has been a force to reckon with. Miro is on another level in AEW and no one can stop him. Miro has defeated each and every single wrestler that stepped in front of him. And all is Matches been one sided. This is the same case with Wardlow and his AEW matches had also been one sided. If these two wrestlers get against one another, then the match will be total destruction. 

2. Luchasaurus.

Luchasaurus has always been a Tag Team wrestler in All Elite Wrestling and he never really has a single Singles Match. Now Jungle Boy is nowhere to be seen on AEW TV and Luchasaurus is growing himself alongside Christian Cage. Now he is really a single star with a heel attitude without even noticing it. So if now a Monster heel like Luchasaurus goes against a fan favourite Wardlow then it will be a match for ages to come.

1. “Hangman” Adam Page.

“Hangman” Adam Page is AEW’s one of the top stars and he is also the former AEW World Heavyweight Champion. Currently “Hangman” Adam Page has nothing to do in AEW. If this is a chance for him to go against the brand new tlt champion then Page will have a great rivalry. And if Wardlow’s first rivalry will be against the former world heavyweight champion; then it will be the perfect launchpad for him to show the world what he is made up of.
